Academic Achievement: True Educational achievements comes from God

From Education by Ellen G. White

To God be the glory, great things he has done.  We bless God for giving us true education, education that does not just prepare one for earthly service but heavenly too.

“The knowledge of the holy is understanding; “Acquaint now thyself with Him.”
Our ideas of education take too narrow and too low a range. There is need of a broader scope, a higher aim. True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
The source of such an education is brought to view in these words of Holy Writ, pointing to the Infinite One: In Him “are hid all the treasures of wisdom.” Colossians 2:3. “He hath counsel and understanding.” Job 12:13.

Faith News or Fake News?

By Pastor G. G. Getteh

FAKE NEWS OR FAITH NEWS, GOSSIP OR GOSPEL, RUMOR OR REVELATION: WHAT ARE WE TO SHARE?

While some Adventists are relaxed in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, they are ever ready to share any "google" or online news. Instead of looking for "fake" stories about the Pope, the Catholic Church and other contemporary issues, let's enthusiastically share the Good News we were given two thousand years ago. It is still the best news for humanity. And it will always turn out to be faith news, not fake news.

By: Zayzay Jr, Emmanuel Forkpa

Abstract
The coming and integration of smartphones into worship influenced Worship Decorum (WD). Some see this as enhancing worship, while others see them as pediments to WD, especially among university students. It is against this bedrock that this paper sought to study the use of smartphones and WD among Babcock University (BU) Students.
